Peach Cobbler

A few days ago we made Peach Cobbler. Personally I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, but I'm glad that we made them because now I know how to. It didn't take very long to make, the one problem we had was that we added a bit too much of the peach juice. To make the Peach Cobbler you have to put the dough on top of the peaches in small spoonfuls, as shown in the picture below.

Jalapeno's and Cheese Muffins

This week we made Jalapeno and Cheese Muffins. They were fun to make and were pretty good but they tasted a little bit salty and crunchy. If I made them again I would put less salt in the recipe. Our muffins came out without any tunnels or peaks, because we made sure not to over mix.

Apricot Crunch Muffins

Our baking class recently made Apricot Crunch Muffins. They turned out well and were easy and quick to make. My partner and I used the muffin method, which means to make a well with the dry ingredients and then to pour the liquid ingredients into the center of the well. The muffins main ingredients were, Apricots, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, oil, eggs, and brown sugar. Before they were baked in the oven we added a topping made up of almonds, cinnamon, butter, and flour. They turned out well, however if  I were to make them another time I would take out the almonds and the apricots.
